Prayer

At St Nicolas, prayer is at the heart of all that we do.

Our Church is open every day during the day, so you can drop in for a prayer at any time.

All the services are advertised which include the saying of Morning Prayer each weekday Tuesday to Friday inclusive. Anyone is welcome at these short informal occasions.

We are pleased to offer the following resources, which you may find useful in your prayers at home.

Please click on the following links to download these resources:

1) ‘United in Prayer - for Morning Prayer at Home’
2) ‘United in Prayer -  for Evening Prayer at  Home’
3) ‘United in Prayer - A Supplement to Morning & Evening Prayer at Home’

All three leaflets are also available free of charge at the back of the church.

Our Sunday News Sheet includes weekly prayers for the community.

We have a Cycle of Prayer listing all the roads in the parish and highlighting each road in turn for our daily prayer.
